Although our time was short it was very sweet. Someday soon, I will be back to spend more time in this small, but beautiful mountain town in the midst of Montana. All together I think I was there for about 10 hours. It may have been for a short while, but not a single moment was taken for granted. Being able to wake up in a big cozy bed, see the sun peek it’s beautiful warmth over the mountains and top it off with a wonderful breakfast from Humming Bird Cafe was everything I needed to rejuvenate from yesterday’s long haul and to prepare for my journey to Portland. After I had watched the sun rise & did some stretching I headed to Humming Bird Cafe. As I crept Morpheus up one of the steep mountain roads that cut through the town, I saw a sign with with a small hovering hummingbird among lettering that indicated that we had arrived. After I had found a slightly precarious spot to park, I trotted up to the cafe and once inside was greeted with warm welcomes, the smell of roasted coffee beans, and several different kinds of plants but of above all those things, the giant sign that read vegan triple chocolate cake was what was most welcoming. I sat myself down and the waitress brought me much needed coffee and a menu and explained the best vegan options. I told her that I really craved veggies in the morning, so we decided together on the tofu scramble with all of the veggies, with added veggie sausage of course. After gobbling down the scramble and another cup of coffee for the long road ahead, I went and retrieved Morpheus from his perch and we were on the road once again.
I promise to return to you once again some day soon to explore more of your wonders & to try some of that triple chocolate cake.
Love & Light
Gemma
